Cookie Policy

Effective: April 1, 2024 · Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how ClockBase (operated by Biteon) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also refer to similar technologies (such as local storage) where relevant for preferences.

3. Categories we use

We group technologies into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: Required for security, authentication (for example Supabase session cookies where you sign in), and core site operation. These cannot be turned off from our banner.
  • Preferences: Remember choices such as language or theme, often using your browser’s local storage.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 helps us understand aggregate traffic. We use Google Consent Mode so measurement cookies are used only if you opt in to analytics.
  • Marketing: We do not load advertising or marketing measurement tags on this site today. This category is available in the preference center for possible future use.

4. How we store your consent

When you use our cookie banner or Cookie settings (in the site footer), we save your choices in a first-party cookie named clockbase_cookie_consent (JSON, up to 12 months, renewed when you change settings).

You can reopen Cookie settings at any time to update preferences.

5. Third-party services

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): Loaded only when a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured and you have allowed analytics. See Google’s documentation for how Consent Mode affects tags.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC): On our contact form, to reduce spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA may set or use cookies or similar storage when you interact with the form.

6. Session and persistent cookies

  • Session cookies are removed when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies (including our consent cookie) stay for a defined period unless you delete them earlier.

7. Managing cookies

Use our Cookie settings link in the footer or the banner when it appears. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser; blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in or parts of the site.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will adjust the “Last updated” date when we do.
